As an answer to that dilemma and in an effort to update the traditional sailor’s ditty bag, we’ve created the Leather Duffle Backpack here in our Providence studio. It has a drawstring closure and interior zipper pocket for easy access to items, but there’s also an exterior pocket that sits against the back to protect anything particularly valuable. ![](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0213/4994/files/ditty3.jpg?v=1476392435) This backpack first launched a few months ago, but it’s getting a second debut later on this month thanks to Todd Snyder. He’s one of our existing retailers, and we’ve collaborated with him twice for New York Fashion Week: Men’s, but we’re especially looking forward to the opening of his first boutique in New York’s Flatiron District.
