Other bag-makers merely add layers of paint, one on top of the next, to achieve what initially looks fine, but is the reason why the edge paint peels off down the road. Our mindful and meticulous process, buffs the layers of paint right into the leather itself so that the color and finish won’t ever be lost. This means our artisans pass pieces between painting and buffing about seven times before the leather fibers can no longer be felt on the edges.
